The Nightwatchman's Holiday Mission
Tom Morello (aka The Nightwatchman) is encouraging his legion of fans and supporters (aka The Nightwatchman Brigade) to get out there and help their fellow man during this time of year. The mission assignment follows. We would appreciate your help.
!!Attention Nightwatchman Brigade, Attention Nightwatchman Brigade!!
This is The Nightwatchman sending you on your first mission. In our ongoing quest to feed the poor, fight the power and rock the fuck out we're going to start with some holiday human rights work. Since poverty and hunger are a crime consider yourselves all crime fighters! In each of the cities where you signed up you'll be sent on good will missions to fight poverty and hunger in your locale.
Below you will find the contact information in each city that are The Nightwatchman Brigade endorsed organizations to volunteer your time or make donations to for this holiday season. I encourage you to participate and give as much of your time as you can and then report back here. Please send us photos and blogs about your experiences as you head out to confront poverty and hunger head on.
Safe travels and Godspeed!
- The Nightwatchman
Please send in pictures, reviews and videos of your experience to: thenightwatchmanbrigade@gmail.com
Volunteer Options Near You:
Burrito Project (Everywhere)
The Burrito Project is a series of independent and self-organizing groups of friends that feed the hungry and homeless in cities around the world, encouraging people "to get together with friends and build burritos to take to the streets". The project is not a solution, but a step-by-step, DIY (Do It Yourself) outline for a way to get involved. The Project is there for you to expand. Here’s how you can start yours.
